Great location, great doorman, dated room, and a front desk that's all about the upsell. Probably wouldn't go back.

Booking

We were in New York with the family for New York Comic Con. I was arriving early on the morning of October 10, so I booked from the night of October 9 to make sure the room was ready the moment I got there. I emailed ahead to make sure they wouldn’t mark me as a no-show. Reservations answered the same day and confirmed they’d pre-register the room.

How they treated me

Mixed. The doorman was really good. The front desk was a different story: it felt like it was all about the upsell, not about customer service.

The room

We had a Two-Bedroom Suite. It’s old and dated.

Food & drink

We only did room service.

Location

The best part. It’s on Spring Street in SoHo.

Value

On top of the room rate, there’s a $51 a night destination fee, plus taxes.

The bottom line

Would I go back? Probably not.

Stay here for the location and the doorman. Don’t expect a modern room, and be ready to say no at the front desk.
