The Dominick

Great SoHo location and a great doorman. But the rooms are old and dated, and the front desk cares more about the upsell than about you. I probably wouldn't go back.

Book it if…
- Location matters most: you want to be in SoHo
Skip it if…
- You want a modern, updated room
- You don't want to be upsold at the front desk
The Dominick is in a great spot in SoHo, and the doorman was really good. But the rooms are old and dated, and the front desk felt more focused on upselling than on taking care of guests.

Great location, great doorman, dated room, and a front desk that's all about the upsell. Probably wouldn't go back.
How they treated me: 5/10 · Read the full stay →- Is The Dominick in a good location?
- Yes. It's on Spring Street in SoHo, and the location was the best part of my stay.
- Are the rooms at The Dominick updated?
- In my experience, no. Our Two-Bedroom Suite felt old and dated.
- Would you stay at The Dominick again?
- Probably not. The location and the doorman are great, but the dated room and the upsell-focused front desk don't make up for it.
- Does The Dominick charge a destination fee?
- Yes. When I stayed in October 2026 there was a $51 per night destination fee, plus taxes, on top of the room rate.
- Can you book the night before to guarantee an early-morning check-in?
- Yes. I booked from the night before because I was arriving early the next morning. The hotel confirmed it would pre-register the room and not mark it as a no-show.
